I'd hope I wouldn't be expensive. I always pay for and buying everything myself. Guys have only ever bought something for me because they either insist or pay behind my back. -__-

Not always. Pretty much the only time I ever ask my boyfriend to buy me anything is when I'm craving donuts and he's on his way home from work. haha
Other than that we each pay for whatever we do.

When I was with my ex, he payed for movies, and payed everything when we bought food at the store for random date days. Then he sold a few of his prized possessions so he could by me something expensive. I felt so bad for that. I felt bad because I never payed for anything, it was always him. He never mentioned me paying for anything either.. so I just let it go.

The only thing a bf should pay for consistenly are dates... And 1) dates don't always have to be expensive.. Picnics are aweswome 2) it's not like u go out every night and 3) girls: you're a disgrace to women if u can't hold your own financially, phsically, and mentally with or without a man!

we don't always get a choice in the matter. My ex always had to pay for eveything everything despite my insitence and the fact that I have a well paying job and he was unemployed. and we may be expensive but it's worth it.

In my opinion: whoever asks should pay. After establishing a relationship, you should go dutch. Unless, of course, one of you makes way more than the other. My ex earned twice what I do, so he paid more often than I did.

This is stupid. The only girls who are way too expensive are girls who ask for too much and expect the guy to pay. I would hate for a guy to pay for me. I would much rather split the bill or pay for my own meal and him do the same. The only other time where he would be spending money is if it was Christmas or my birthday, and that is only if he wanted to. And I would definitely give him a gift on those days as well.
