How come when eating, drinking, smoking, and starving yourself are all things people do, but being thin, smoking, and drinking are what the 'cool people do', but if you're overweight you're ugly? I'd rather be with an overweight person than with someone who gives their lungs cancer, loses brain cells, and looks like a skeleton, amirite?

Just so you know overweight people smoke and drink too, and just because someone is skinny doesn't mean they starve themselves it's usually because they eat healthy and excercise. Also there's a difference between being skinny and looking like a skeleton.

I'm dumb? Listen, NEVER did I say overweight people don't smoke or drink, and never did I say there aren't those that exercise. I'm just saying how come people who smoke and drink are cool, but the instant you're a little chubby everyone is teasing you, making fun of you? I applaud those that keep themselves healthy by working out, and I am sad that there are people who gorge themselves past a healthy weight, smoke, and drink. However, Drinking and Smoking shouldn't be cool, and being overweight shouldn't be looked down on. Society needs to get it's priorities in order.

the smokers are cool it's true but so are the non-smokers, it's true, smokers and drinkers ect... should be made fun of and disliked but so should any unhealthy habit including being obese. Being obese will kill you just as fast as being a smoker. Another thing Fat people who don't drink or smoke can still be popular. I'm not saying that because u are 2 lbs over weight you should be shunned.

Being overweight is also unhealthy. It causes knee and heart problems. Yes I agree that society should not shun people for being slightly chubby but smoking and drinking is only "cool" because society tells us it's wrong and everyone loves a rebel.

Actually, no, I'm underweight, I have an overactive thyroid. I'm just tired of seeing this one person I know constantly harassed because of their weight. It annoys me that people are so unsatisfied with their lives that they have to take it out on others because they're a different weight.

I'll admit, I'm not interested in extremely overweight girls, but overall, I do actually prefer chubby girls rather than skinny girls, if they're too skinny I feel like I'm gonna break them when I hug 'em.

how much you wanna bet your overweight?? haha jk but i agree with anonymous saying that not all skinny peaple are anorexic. I mean its really not their fault they have a higher matabolism or they like to be healthy and its quite sad when peaple make fun of them and call them anorexic when they dont even know how a real anorexic person looks like. No, im not bashing you at all. Actually i get what your trying to say about how peaple freak about the wrong things and personally i think smoking/drinking is much worse than being a little on the chubby side.
