That was the point of the post dumbass. They're saying that even if we think we're "winning" because there's no attacks happening, we've given up a lot of our freedoms to get there. e.g: the patriot act - the government can listen in on phone calls and read emails, full body scanners at airports and the police can hold you without sentencing you.

I don't act like that, hell, no one I know acts like that. Most Americans may think this country's the center of the world, but not all. And I sure care a hell of a lot more about what happens out there than here.
In fact, I don't even remember we have poverty here because our "poverty" would be freakin' luxurious to countries like Ethiopia or Iran.
I never even use an airport anyways.

I don't really see why they need anything other than an x-ray and metal detector.
I mean 9-11 happened because people assumed the plane would land, not be run into something.
It would be a cold day in Hell when somebody actually tries to take over a plane full of passengers with a box cutter again.
The terrorists didn't just ruin my travel time, they ruined plane hijackings for the other extremists!

It's funny that Las Vegas uses cameras and software on people that come in the door that can identify people with or without a beard. They use this to protect their money. They continually catch cheaters and scammers from entering their casinos to steal again.
Funny we can't use it to protect our borders or airports.

I am an American, but this country sickens me. I'm 17 and i know more about Iran's government and the recent events than most American's. I don't listen to American media because they twist and turn everything, like FOX News. The truth is that Israel are the ones fucking with Palestine, we only supply them because it's the "Holy Land" and they are our allies. I'm not on Americas side in this war, and i don't care if you tell me to move out, because eventually i will when i'm old enough. Oh yeah, and if you think this whole war started because of 9/11, then you're really idiotic, if you read about the history of the U.S and many countries in the middle east, it has to do with money, greed and oil. This war is tyrant against tyrant and us citizens just stand by and watch it all unfold. It's unfortunate, but if you're going to support the U.S. military's action in killing the innocent for a purpose that they dont truely understand, then so be it.
