+347 Since the Earth is in orbit around the sun, time travelers would have to teleport too, or else they would end up floating in space. Amirite?

Well, our solar system is moving at several million miles per hour, so time travelers would have to do crazy calculations to figure out where to teleport to. This makes perfect sense though. Time traveling exists in the future, it's just that they could never hit Earth and were lost in space.

From "The Doctor's Wife" The Doctor: You know, since we're talking with mouths, not really an opportunity that comes along very often, I just want to say, you know, you have never been very reliable. Idris: And you have? The Doctor: You didn't always take me where I wanted to go. Idris: No, but I always took you where you needed to go. The Doctor: You did!

and by that time they probably figured out invisibility too.. so our great-great grand kids could be with us right now o.O maybe they're ghosts! so ghosts are not people from the past, but from the future.

That reminds me of a book called "Pathfinder" (by Orson Scott Card). The main boy can see the "path" of every person and animal has ever walked on the planet. Heavily discussed is the question of why wouldn't paths disappear with the planets rotation and how by messing with time he can affect paths from hundreds of years ago and there is much on the space-time continuum. It was a major mindfuck, but well-written.

And the solar system is moving, and the entire galaxy, and because time is an illusion anyway?
