+246 A girl kicking a guy in the balls should be more frowned upon, amirite?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Doesn't it depend on the reason though? Like, if a girl is about to get raped by a guy, then she could do it then, right?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Yes, but that's self defense. If someone's trying to hurt you, you should try your hardest to get away. I mean more like if you got in a petty argument and you kicked him in the balls. I know girls that have done that and it seems like no one really cares except for the guy it's happening too when she's really just causing him a //lot// of pain without a good reason.

Oooh, yeah, that's true.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

My best friend did it to my brother cause she thought it would be "funny."

by Anonymous 11 years ago

@iceeselenawiz: Well... Was it funny?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

She thought it was until I told her brother about it... >:)

by Anonymous 11 years ago

What did her brother do, exactly, when you told him about it?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Lol, you seem interested. He embarrassed her in front of our group and all his friends saying "Really? The only way you could get some action was by kicking him in the balls?" And she'd done it to a few of my brothers friends beforehand so they still make fun of her about it.

For some reason, it really clicked for me when my ex boyfriend explained it to me. He basically said the same as you did: Never should a girl hit a guy there. It just clicked, it has to really hurt, he wouldn't just make this up. Then he told me it goes back into your gut sometimes and I was really surprised to hear that. The real kicker was when I saw a comment on here about how a boob hit is like getting kicked in the balls for girls. (I personally never thought boob hits hurt and honestly don't notice them unless someone points it out.) But somebody responded "I've never seen a girl fall to the ground in pain after being hit in the boob" and I was like "I have never fallen to the ground in pain. I've broken both my arms, but I was able to stand up and walk home in tears. I've stubbed by toe, but I just shake it off, but never have I ever fallen to the ground in pain and not been able to move. That shit must hurt." These moments have lead me to feel the same way OP does, don't hit a guy there unless it's for self defense. Yay for way too long of explanations.

A guy explained it to me on this website once, he said, "The male body literally assumes it's going to die because of the severity of the pain, and in a panic launches enough adrenaline to make you noseaous and want to throw up. Plus because of the nerve endings origin the pain hurts the balls, your stomach, and then travels all the way up your spine." It sounded quite unpleasant to me.

He told me it was because there's the most or the second most number of nerves in your stomach, something to that affect. That's also why we get butterflies.

As opposed to what?

Well, what I've noticed—and maybe you've had a different experience—is that it's almost deemed "socially acceptable" or, at least, it's not really frowned upon, for a girl to kick a guy in the balls for a petty reason. (I've said above that I don't mean in cases of self-defense.) Like, he could call her a bitch or something. It would be acceptable for her to call him something back but I've seen girls kick guys in the balls for calling her that which is just causing him a //lot// of pain for making a comment.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Oh. I had no idea girls did that....I certainly don't.

My sister kicked me //really// hard once and I fell over and honestly felt like I couldn't move or even breathe because it hurt so much, and she told me to "stop being so dramatic".

just to put being hit in the balls hard into perspective, there's a standardized pain measurement (like inches or cm, but for pain) that takes fancy machines to measure and i forget the name of just now. anyway, some tests were run, iirc the instantaneous pain of a guy being hit in the balls hard is *multiple times* higher than the highest point the average woman reached during labor, which is generally the single most painful thing a woman will ever experience. Also it really can cause permanent damage, it takes a surprisingly small amount of force to effectively explode a testicle.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

That pain test thing is not true, it was made up as a joke. And it takes a surprisingly large amount of force to explode a testicle, it's part of their design to be resilient. Unfortunately it's also part of their design to hurt like hell if they are injured just to make sure you don't do it.

This was written in small writing in the "You Might Also Like" section and I read the post as "A guy licking a guy in the balls should be more frowned upon, amirite?" ... wary

There’s no disputing that if a girl finds herself in a life threatening situation, then she is entitled to use whatever force is necessary to defend herself; this includes rape, because it is always life-changing, & also many rapists actually end up killing their victim. Now, when two boys are fighting, they know how painful a blow (or squeeze!) to the testicles is, & this empathy subconsciously causes then to hold back from using full force, or even choosing to avoid using such an attack at all. There is nowhere on a girl’s body that is anywhere near as sensitive as a testicle, & blows to our crotch are comparatively painless. Boys make a great show of their toughness, & superior strength in front of girls, so we know that, realistically, there is little chance that we can cause them any real pain. We are quite good at causing emotional pain to our female enemies, but boys tend to be immune to such attacks so, in frustration, we kick out at the only place we know is going to hurt them, without having any real clue as to the level of pain they will experience. It is unfortunate that boys instinctively react to a blow to the testicles in the way they do. The dramatic doubling up of their body with the hands covering their balls, in many instances ending up on the ground curled up in obvious agony, the pitiful sound they make & the look of shock & fear on their face which is in such contrast to their usual cool demeanour that we see it as comical. And any boys that witness it appear to find it hilarious, whereas actually it is the emotion relief that it hasn’t happened to them! So we feel no guilt in also finding it funny. There is another aspect of this attack which girls might like to consider before carrying it out. The pain from an injured testicle is out of proportion to any damage that it may suffer. I liken it to toothache: if a dentist accidentally drills into the nerves in the root of a tooth, it causes a shooting pain which surges throughout your nervous system. This direct assault on naked nerves is similar to an injury to a testicle, & is agonisingly painful. When the initial agony subsides, the testicle aches just like a tooth abscess, for a long period which is in proportion to the severity of the injury, & can last for days. A teenage boy’s whole world is centred around his sexual identity, which largely shapes his thoughts & actions in this traumatic time of his life. His testicles are the very core of his sexual being, & when they suffer an agonising injury he is terrified that damage to them will lessen, or even destroy, his cherished masculinity. This may be difficult for us to comprehend, but the mental damage you cause may be worse than the physical pain!
