Have you met someone who has parents pay for everything? That's my counterargument.

Someone's parents just had the "get a job or move out of the basement, you're 33" chat with them.

Sounds like you think you are your parents pet. Woof woof. Wanna go to the park doggie?

People that didn't ask to be born should be forced to work and help make corporations rich? So slavery?

by United-Shallot 4 weeks ago

Nope- but parents shouldn't have to support their children forever; that's stupid. If some lazy ass adult doesn't want to support themselves, they can remove themselves from the gene pool. A parent's obligation should be to show their offspring how to survive, and then it's up to the offspring to either survive or not.

People that didn't ask to be born should be forced to work Yes, assuming the are healthy and able they need to support themselves in some way and help make corporations rich? They do get to choose their job or position. So slavery? No, getting compensated for the job that you get to choose to do and get to quit if you want to is far from slavery.

And everyone before them figured it out, but no, people like OP are too special to do the normal thing.

So you are jealous in other words. "You shouldn't be allowed to fly in an airplane you should walk because your ancestors walked it's not fair." I'm talking about progress. If people know they will have to provide for their children for life they will think twice

I'm asking that people reproduce responsibly. You said I'm childish but go on go say people can go "join a monastery " or "live in a car". You've never struggled a day in your life and you have no idea what reality is like and how hard it can get. Plus you're a woman so no clue what it's like being a man in this world. You're biggest concern is what "turns you off" lol

by United-Shallot 4 weeks ago

Btw I'm saying going forward that should be the policy, a future people should be fully aware of the consequences and responsibility of having a child, Einstein.

by United-Shallot 4 weeks ago

Your parents didn't ask to be born either. You can keep going down the line. I didn't ask to be born, but I don't have to ask to be unborn. There's the real answer.

I feel like you are on the verge of making a point. Want to try again?

by United-Shallot 4 weeks ago

LOL no. I am not qualified to teach the developmentally disabled.

by Confident-Hunter-311 4 weeks ago

You understand I mean this should be a future policy right genius? People should fully understand that if I bring this person into the world they are my responsibility for life. Not just until they are 18.

by United-Shallot 4 weeks ago

OK 'genius', let's talk about your policy. What happens when the parents die?

Pay for Uni, wedding and a house.

A lot of parents already do. And yet most basement dwellers won't even help with chores in their lazy, crybaby, entitled world.

Next time I am in a medical emergency and am unconscious and some first responder and doctor saved my life, I wi be billing my entire living expense to them for the rest of my life. I didn't asked to be saved after all, so they owe me money.

by Giovanna84 4 weeks ago

"No one asks to be born" Not this crap again. Every day there's some variation of this stupidity.

by CalmDetail4480 4 weeks ago

It's true tho...

Humans reproduce and most human children are happy for existence. Anything else is pathology If your parents treated you right and fed you, guess what, time to get working.

by tristonromaguer 4 weeks ago

Let's not promote that in here, please. There are a lot of ways to break off from social constrictions. We don't have to go there.

by Anonymous 4 weeks ago

You're makiing a great argument for 'abortion up until the moment of birth.' I could be swayed.

by Anonymous 4 weeks ago

Nope.

Obvious troll is Obvious

by Anonymous 4 weeks ago

Yes.

by Anonymous 4 weeks ago

Yeah agreed, you choose to create then you choose to love them with all your might The decision to pro-create is always selfishness, it is literally for themselves, as how human is wired: Eg, I want a child, I want to continue my family line, I finally become parent, I want my child to happy, I .... etc
