Have you ever seen a baby pigeon? amirite?

No. But once, twenty five or thirty years ago, while sitting on a toilet, I read a Readers Digest article about how you never see baby pigeons. Since then I've looked and looked and wondered. You are not alone.

Depends on if it's a precocial or altricial species! Precocial birds like chickens have cute and self sufficient chicks, while altricial birds like pigeons have ugly nut sacs who can't fend for themselves.

I went to a school that specialized in veterinary medicine that also kept some pigeons on the property. If the janitor (who reminded me of Crazy Steve on Drake and Josh) liked you he'd even show them to you when we had them.
