Name is Alyssa, of course. Some people have long profiles. Some people have none. Mine is one of the longer ones.
I'm a extremely decisive person. I think carefully if I'm making a serious choice, and I don't do it halfway. My personality fluctuates between extremes depending on my mood. I sometimes end up being a hypocrite because of this.
I don't like making lists in particular, but
I like enjambment, which is when
You split up a clause or sentence between lines,
Like what I have been doing for this last sentence. It's used in poetry.
My age is a secret. You are probably older than me, though.
I argue. A lot. Errr, discuss. Debate. Not so much on this site though, on the internet, I'm shy. Which is a direct opposite for most people.
I have always fought for fairness, since I was little. Prejudice, sexism, and racism upset me. The jokes make me laugh though. Racism bothers me the most, being Asian in a tiny hick town. I think if people were more educated, it wouldn't be as much as a problem. For example, knowing that "ching chong ling long ting tong" is not how Japanese or Chinese people speak. Or knowing that I'm not Japanese or Chinese.
I stay up late reading manga and this site. I have read a LOT of people's profiles. I've wanted to write messages, but I didn't want to be the creeper at 3 in the morning.
Any notification makes me absolutely ecstatic. Wanna know a quick formula for instant notification? Scroll down... write a message...click "post". Really, it's as simple as that. Try it if you don't believe me.
If you laugh at the idea of cross-country being a real sport, I don't really want to talk to you. If you are, however, open to the idea of it being a sport and would be convinced if only you heard why, by all means, TALK TO ME.
Books. Those amazing things called books. I could write books about books. I love books.
I don't read books as often as I used to, because of my busy schedule :/ I have a rapidly growing list of books I mean to read. Seriously though, if you know a good book, recommend it to me. I promise to try to get to it this summer.
I almost cried when I found out that most of my honors LA class had never heard of Fahrenheit 451, The Catcher in the Rye, The Good Earth, or 1984. Please don't make me cry.
In relation to the fairness thing above, I want to be an lawyer. To Kill a Mockingbird wasn't what exactly set me on that path, but it rekindled my interest. If you haven't read it yet, you should.
I don't really watch movies. I can't sit still for the 2 hours it takes, and I can't keep quiet. I can read most books that have been turned into movies faster than watching the movie, anyway.
I guess to most people, music is more popular than books, so a few of the bands I listen to are Yellowcard, Relient K, Neon Trees, The Ready Set, The Summer Set, Cute Is What We Aim For, Boys like Girls, and my random outlier, Owl City. So, alternate rock, pop, punk? Not really sure.
Ran out of things to write. My mood right now is quite serious, so this is probably boring... talk to me and I'll write a more interesting profile next time.
Identifying birds by their beak is easy. Just find the type that fits the bill, amirite?
Yeah, that's what I thought. I know the real reason, but it kinda just seemed like the giant middle finger to the Patriots.
The harp.
Um, I like to watch the washing machine, actually....
Cut it up into little cubes and eat with a fork. That's what we usually do...
And if you're locking a prisoner inside a room from the inside, how would you avoid getting locked in yourself?
I hate double stuf. It completely throws off the perfect cookie-to-cream ratio that the regular have going on.
Yeah, that works. Anaverageboss and I know that all sharps have a corresponding flat, just some notes don't have them for whatever reason. Like B and C.
Hmm, really? That's strange. Not the whole "every flat is equal to the sharp of the lower note", I know that's true, but for most instruments, E#/Fb doesn't exist. It just goes from D#/Eb to E to F. I play clarinet, not piano.
Yes, usually __# is the same thing as (next note up)b, but there's no such thing as Fb.
Like the machine Lewis made in Meet the Robinsons?
I don't care about anything...EXCEPT HEARING THOSE BELLS GO RING-A-DING-DING! Anyone? No?
I can have another youuu in a minute. In fact, he'll be here in a minute, baaby.
I counted the amirite? and I still got 25. Have I lost my ability to count...?
....Was anybody else thinking about this in terms of a zombie apocalypse?

"All of the specific teachings of the Bible are outdated, okay? They don't all apply to modern life. Instead of looking at the negatives, focus on the good lessons it can teach you. :)" You can agree with me that you stated that yourself, right? Well, you know what one specific teaching of the Bible is? That homosexuals are wrong. A negative? That you treat people badly because of something that's not their choice. A good lesson it can teach you? TO TREAT EVERYONE EQUALLY AND LOVE THEM. Is there really so much love in this world that you can afford to discriminate against any kind?
