I love music and art, my interests include drawing, painting, and writing. I am also teaching myself to play the drums and harmonica, I used to play the piano, after my teacher moved I have become a little rusty, but hope to pick it up again soon.
My favorite music is classic rock, but I'll pretty much listen to anything but techno. I also like rock and blues, alternative, country, and most anything underground.
My favorite bands/artists include the BEATLES, Cake, Taylor Swift, Capra, Rolling Stones, Beach Boys, Nine Inch Nails, Kings of Leon, and Weezer.
I also enjoy skiing, hiking, and golf. I study in the IB program and my favorite subjects are english, art, history, and science (though I'm not that good at the latter).
My favorite artists are Monet, Peter Max, Leonardo DaVinci, and I enjoy learning about modern artists through ads and local shows.
I can't tell if this is a reference to Charlie and the Chocolate factory
Does a farmer's sun burn count?
That's true. I guess it kind of also varies with where you live, your age, etc. I have a friend who was born in Africa and her name is Yaa, that's a strange name here, but a common one from where she was born. And I don't know anyone else with my last name in America, but it's a really, really common name in Ireland.
OK, I just read an article titles something like "January Jones' Strange Baby Name," and the name she picked was Xander. I thought about it, and it didn't seem so weird, I know two Xanders. With Celebrity baby names like Apple and Blanket I was prepared to see a name like "Slagathor" in the article.
That's me! :D I actually had a nightmare once that I was taking a test and halfway through lost my pencil. You know you're a nerd if...
Huh, I didn't of that, maybe I should look where my sister worked.
Hahaha! Lucky! No one in my town is hiring, and if they are, they're more likely giving the job to an adult who needs it and not a kid looking to work part time :/
I know!!! Most of the time I would just rather not do the thing that costs money than ask them for the money to do it.
WOAH!!! :O I promise I've never heard of this guy before! This was when I was staying in a hotel in New York. Mind BLOWN! haha
@1272721 (Anonymous): Yuppers! And at my school, you're graded on how many "TOK Moments," you have outside of class, you get into the habit of shouting out this statement.... it's the IB Nerd's tourette's. Sorry for the bad spelling.
TOK moment!!!! Sorry, I know that sounds obscure, but I had to do it, if you know what the IB program is, you'll understand.
@1271528 (polarthebear): I actually had to read an article for my Theory of Knowledge class on this that was printed during his election.
Ronald Reagan was the same way, he was an actor
