Ever since around November 2010 or so, I started making everything I made anonymously, both posts and comments. Conveniently, since then, I have been getting more positive scores on such. And, yes, half of my posts are stupid, and you can find flaws in many of them (for example, the one at the top of this biography). Lately a lot of my stupid posts have been homepaged, but are still gathering positive votes. And, I would have to say, one of the only posts that is really my opinion that I will stand by as long as I live. is my lowest scoring post. The one where everyone called me a sexist ass who should never reproduce. In fact, some of them basically wished that I had my balls kicked in. Just as well, I wish I saw more posts like that around. No, not posts with -1000 scores, but posts with actual opinion. where you have the balls to speak your mind. I admit, my post probably under-exaggerated the side I was opposing, but I was in the heat of the moment. But who hasn’t said something in the heat of the moment? On that note, we shall move on.
Lately, amirite? has become quite the joke site. I concur with the fact that they're funny, and I even posted jokes myself, but I don't even feel like I am pushing a "Yea You Are" button or "No Way " button anymore. I feel as if I'm pressing simplistic "Funny! " and "Not funny! " buttons. Back when I joined, around post 7000, amirites and general questions you could be right about. On the opposing side, the jokes areindeed in amirite format, and they are something you can be correct or incorrect about. Hell, a lot of them make my day! And, honestly, are there really that many more opinions we can post after 604,775 posts (and counting)? We could, but chances are the poster will be given twelve sources supporting that they "stole" the joke. Maybe even by me. I have done such in the past. Hell, there was a week I would post ten links of amirite? posts to prove the post in question was a repeat. The human population, including myself, needs to get over the fact that nobody is original anymore. If you've said it, somebody probably said it before you. The difference is if it made it to amirite? first or not. It would just be awesome to have original opinions (preferably those that stir up controversy). The type you would stand by and support until the moment you die.
