Depends on which teachers you have in my old high school. Some of them you weren't allowed out of the room even if you were bleeding out the ears(Trust me on this one) and screaming in pain(Then you were given a one-time warning of expelling you from the class) then others you could walk out while the teacher was giving a speech and they wouldn't care since it's your education and your job to make sure you get it.
