I'm not really here often, but people know me. I used to be cool, but now I'm just a slut.

Actually, I am real.

Nah, I disagree - the Internet has actually spawned new things that never existed before.

Like, I have a theory that people don't have weird fetishes, and then find people like them online - I reckon that going online too often actually is the cause of said fetishes.

The same way as I reckon I can tell who in real life goes on 4chan, because the online world and real world are connected, and so are our online personalities and offline personalities - if you're an arsehole online, it usually seeps over to you being an arsehole IRL. (Also, it's pretty sad that we need an acronym like IRL)

Yeah, Japan has turned into this kinda mythical zany land. Vending machines with live crabs? Oh you, Japan. Fetishes for used schoolgirl underwear? Only in Japan! Cartoons of girls being penetrated in the nipples (yes, I've been unfortunate enough to see that)? Must be Japan!

Yeah, I don't watch anime coz it's gay (I used gay as a slur, U MAD?) but what appears to be the most attractive men there are feminine by Aussie standards.

Although it is odd, because usually the heterosexist gay stereotypes are seen as emulated the opposite sex (in a superficial gender roles context) - ie, the gay guy who likes shopping and doing his hair, and the lesbian who wears clothes from the men's section and drinks beer and watches football, whereas if the muscly guy gay stereotype in Japan is true, it doesn't follow that formula.

I watched your videos on JewTube.

About the gender expression one, I also hate the phrase "straight acting".

Also, just as what's considered feminine and masculine changes over culture, sexuality stereotypes change. Apparently since the standard attractive heterosexual man in Japan is feminine (by Western standards) the typical gay stereotype is more of a muscly/body-builder guy. Dunno for sure, though, so don't quote me.

Dead toto or alive toto, I have no opinion either way.

U dead yet bro?

I didn't want to, you're a good guy and you were a god mod. But you just disappeared for a month and didn't reply to me on here for ages :(

Hi Toto!

Hey! We disagree on a lot of things (especially politically), but you always have very professional comments and don't flip out. That's great! And you also say you hate when people say 'random' so much, and that's ALWAYS bugged me out, too. Keep it up, I love when people that are on the total opposite aisle as myself can defend their personal views in a highly respectable demeanor.

Amusingly, I've become atheist since I first made this comment.

Sadly, it has a huge number of people who have no idea what the significance of the OWS movement is. At least there are a few people who can explain their reasons with something other than "I just don't get them" or "SOCIALISM! COMMUNISM! DOWN WITH THE REDS!". I thought we got over this after that ugly incident in 1956. The Occupy movement, even if it has no established goal, is indicative of social unrest. And there damn well should be social unrest for all the reasons mentioned above about the rich getting richer and the government preventing capitalism from doing its job. Don't get me wrong, America is still fucked and I'm leaving the country ASAP.

No. I misread your comment and thought you said the post with 25 hp votes was yours :P. It's that post I was referring to.

Totobean commented on post #629649

Homepage votes can get a post on the home page. However there are ways that a post with enough home page votes (such as yours) would not end up on the home page.

Hardly. A religious zealot would no doubt be influenced by the doctrines of their religion. So even if the person is competent, they would be following the far less competent and much less widely applicable doctrines when making policies. Should they be capable of completely separating their religion from their every political action, I would have no problem at all with it.

Totobean commented on post #576780

I'm sure you're correct, but I haven't had the displeasure of having people like that on my Facebook.

Mormons aren't the only polygamists. I don't want a religious nut job in charge, but I have no problem with a polygamist.

Totobean commented on post #624173

What would be wrong with a more stereotypical gay guy? Are you saying that being more effeminate makes someone less competent? That's ridiculous.

Jesus existed. That is historical fact. The only thing in question is whether he was the son of god or a prophet or just some guy.
