Yeah I can understand that. I don't really think you should say you hate someone who's trying to do something beneficial, like making music that some people enjoy, but to each his own I guess.

I dislike Coldplay. I don't think their music is as original as people think it is and I just don't really feel anything when I listen to them. I can certainly understand why people love them, and I can also understand how someone could hate them simply based on the fact that they're kind of everywhere and that can get annoying after a while if you already don't like them.

I agree with you, but to be fair those men and women were under orders from their superiors to use "advanced interrogation" (aka stripping the prisoners naked and forcing them into demeaning positions and throwing feces at them). Also, I don't know about you but I have never been in a war zone and felt the effect that has on a person. Those soldiers were told that the prisoners had information that could save the lives of them and their comrades, and that they had to work it out of them. That's not to say that the soldiers who did that deserve respect, but I'm just not sure that all the fault should be placed on them.

It's ok. I didn't make it clear that I was joking and there are some pretty ignorant people on the internet who would probably say the exact same thing I said and mean it so I can understand the confusion.
