I'm on your side. Moved from UK to mid-Atlantic US and miss in not going below 30 or above 90 except for a day or two a year. Trying to find somewhere similar to retire to in the US and have come up blank. Guess I'm going to have to live in ME in the summer and USVI in the winters!

Yea. If you are a Duck. If you really think UK weather beats the Caribbean and/or S FLA (unless you really really hate humidity - which I can understand) you are nuts. [ I will give you the Hurricane points. Caribbean suffers hurricanes. Point for OP ]
